This sound i created in 2019 for one of the projects for the appearance of the text. Sound was created in fl studio.

Recorded myself typing on our old desktop computer's now garbage keyboard likely over a decade ago with my old nokia e66 smartphone. I then edited this recording yesterday to find out how much i would be able to improve the already decent quality. I may upload more keyboard and keypad sounds, and you may contact me to request more.

This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). Okay, i'm done with the long boring description. I hope you enjoy this weird, different type of sound effect :). P. S. Clean, dry recording of a smartphone touchscreen being rapidly tapped as if a message was being written on it. Could just as easily be used as sounds from using (writing, playing mobile games, browsing, etc) a tablet or really any relatively small touchscreen device. Tapping speed and length between taps varies throughout the recording, but overall i tried to make it sound as natural as possible while still offering options for more granular placement. Recorded with an akg p170 into a tascam 208i audio interface at 48khz/24-bit. Microphone was positioned 5-6 inches away from source. A 120hz high-pass filter was applied to remove unnecessarily pronounced bass frequencies.
